New York’s finest! An NYPD officer, who was on duty during New York’s Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28, went above and beyond.
In a YouTube video posted by Paige Ponzeka, a member of LGBT sports group Big Apple Softball League, the hot police officer willingly broke it down with one of her teammates, identified by BuzzFeed as Aaron Santis.
“The cop was standing there all stoic,” Ponzeka recalled to BuzzFeed News. “As soon as Aaron started dancing with him, grinding up against him, the cop tried to stay still but then he just got super into it. The crowd loved it,” she added. “It was an awesome moment.”
Santis, for his part, was equally as excited given he had been trying to loosen up officers all day.
“I didn’t expect him to get into it as much as he did,” Santis told Buzzfeed. “The crowd just loved it and I think it made him want to dance more. It was such a fun moment. He was such a good sport and I’m so glad he decided to dance.”
The best part? After busting their best Magic Mike moves, Santis planted a sticker — and a kiss! — on the officer, which read: “I’d hit that!”
