In the instantly first of the iconic new snaps, a beaming William, 28, and Catherine, 29, appear inside Buckingham Palace. They famously broke with royal tradition on Friday at the palace's balcony that afternoon post-wedding, kissing not once but twice as thousands of fans cheered them on.

As long speculated, Middleton wore a custom designed gown by Alexander McQueen's creative director, Sarah Burton; her groom wore a red Royal Navy Number One Dress uniform.
