Paris Hilton: "Everything Is Fine" After Pot Mix-up

After a South African court dropped a marijuana-smoking case against Paris Hilton, the heiress, 29, took to her Twitter page to reassure her fans that "everything is fine."

"I had nothing to do with it," she Twittered. "...There's a lot of crazy rumors going around. Just want you all to know the truth. Everything is completely fine. I was not charged or arrested, cause I didn't do anything. I was assisting the police with the investigation and answering their questions. Everyone was super nice and friendly to me. I love South Africa! Such an amazing place, especially during The World Cup! Hope that clears everything up. Love you guys, thanks for your concern. Xoxo P."

Hilton was escorted out of the Brazil vs Netherlands quarterfinal match at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium Friday.
After Hilton was questioned by police, her rep told UsMagazine.com: "It was actually another person in the group who did it. The case has been dropped against Paris and no charges will be made. The authorities have apologized for wrongfully accusing her since she had nothing to do with the incident."

Yet here she is, being arrested in Corsica ..... for carrying marijuana..... Can't help but wonder of she'll insist that she isn't involved this time either and ask for an apology?

is it me... or is she getting sexier, hotter and more beautiful every year? Anyways, south africa has one of the highest homicide rates on the globe. Its so dangerous crimewise, people mount anti-carjacker flameguns on the sides of their cars in order to make Barbecued Burglar Burgers for stray street dogs. They have more to worry about than some Barbie and her Malibu bong.

The other person was Jennifer Rovero, and both of them were arrested for smoking pot and appeared in court. The reason Paris were let go is because she didn't have any marijuana on her, so they couldn't prove anything. Rovero has to leave South Africa within 14 days.
The charges have not been dropped. Paris has been released on bail and is due to re-appear in court to face the charges.
She shouldn't deny it. It's the only thing I've ever read about her that might make her slightly interesting.

Who cares if she was toking or not. Intelligent societies are moving away from criminalizing pot smoking, which has less downside than drinking beer. It doesn't make one fat, and you don't wake up with a headache the next day.
