Pearl Jam Covers Frozen’s “Let It Go” During “Daughter” Performance in Italy

The power of “Let It Go” knows no bounds. The hugely popular song from Disney’s Frozen has been riffed on by everyone from Jimmy Fallon to Demi Lovato, and it finally went grunge this past weekend.

Famed rock band Pearl Jam was in Italy over the weekend for two performances, and took the chance to do their best Elsa impression. The group played in Milan on Friday evening, June 20, and in Trieste on Sunday, June 22.

While in the country, the Seattle rockers performed their hit ’90s single “Daughter,” but put a Frozen spin on it. Mid-song, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder slipped in the chorus to “Let It Go,” belting the famously catchy lyrics.

The band is currently in the midst of an international tour, which runs through July and subsequently picks back up in October. Pearl Jam released its last album, Lightning Bolt, in October 2013 to critical acclaim and commercial success. The project hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving the band its fifth chart-topping album.
