Amy Winehouse's father Mitch is still grieving the loss of his daughter, but the "Rehab" singer's fans seem to be providing him with some comfort. Friday afternoon, Mitch, 60, handed out some of his late daughter's clothes to well wishers outside of her Camden Square home in London.
"I can't tell you what this mean to us. It really is making this a lot easier," Mitch told fans earlier in the week who gathered to mourn the Grammy winner. "We're devastated and I'm speechless, but thanks for coming."
Friends and family -- including Mitch, Kelly Osbourne, and Mark Ronson -- also paid tribute to the late 27-year-old by gathering at her favorite club, Jazz After Dark, on Thursday.
Although the official cause of Amy's death is still unknown, her father doesn't believe drug abuse was the cause of her death. "Three years ago, Amy conquered her drug dependency," he told Us Weekly in a statement Tuesday. "The doctors said it was impossible, but she really did it. She was trying hard to deal with her drinking and had just completed three weeks of abstinence."
