Did Demi Moore go back to work too soon?

On Wednesday, the 49-year-old actress was photographed on the Brooklyn, NYC set of Very Good Girls. Also starring Dakota Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen and Peter Sarsgaard, the flick is Moore's first film project since her high-profile November 2011 split with Ashton Kutcher and a subsequent breakdown and rehab stay this February.

In between takes, Moore appeared distracted and anxious, fidgeting with her hair and rubbing her neck.

After all, the single, recovering star has more on her mind than just lines to remember. She and her daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis are estranged, a source tells Us Weekly.

"There's a wedge between Demi and the girls," the source says, adding Moore "spends most of her time in Idaho, not L.A.," and didn't even sit with the family at Tallulah's June 7 high school graduation.

Rumer, 23, Scout, 21, and Tallulah, 18, are tired of "walking on eggshells" around their mom, the source adds.
