The L.A. County Jail Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif. said goodbye to a celebrity inmate on Friday -- not Lindsay Lohan, but Alexis Neiers. The 19-year-old star of the E! reality show Pretty Wild served about 20% of the six-month sentence she received in connection to a 2009 robbery that took place at the home of Orlando Bloom.

Neiers initially pled not guilty to the crime in November, but, faced with a potential six-year term, agreed to a plea bargain in June.

She said in a statement Friday: "I've had time to reflect on my life and the choices that led me to  this experience, left alone in my cell 23 hours a day and having  everything stripped away but the bare essentials. I did a lot of  soul searching. I feel very humbled and see my life in a way that I  have come to be very grateful for."

The reality star received three years felony probation and must pay a not-yet-determined amount of money in restitution. She maintains her innocence in the famous "burglary bunch" robberies of last year.

"I am now a convicted felon -- convicted of a crime that I did not commit," she says. "However, it gives me an excellent  opportunity to reach out to teens and help them grasp the possible  consequences of drinking and partying with people you assume are  safe and with whom you consider friends. The possible consequences  are NOT worth it."

You call any of those girls from Wild a star,, Only thing missing from in thier life is a double wide parked on the side of a hill with a row of half buried cars tires painted white. Any other person would have been locked-up in a months time or less for doing what she did well let me see if I can set that statement right. Did not do,, 2 weeks later did do,did'nt,did and so-on and so-on.Needless to say I watched the show a couple of times, after that info shows about back pain, extra tuff floor stains became better on the eyes and alot less painful.

Still don't understand how this girl Alexis is considered a celeb?? Is it because her Mom was once a Playmate & not a well known one to my knowledge.

Wait, more importantly then whether or not she was involved, and even the fact that she was released, is.... When she walked out of the jail was she wearing 6 inch CL's, or 4 inch Mary Janes?

The first comments she made about reflecting on her life, and being humbled, touched me. THEN I read that she is STILL LYING about her role! She was at the crime sceen, they found her DNA there because she puked in the bushes! If she really had changed and humbled herself, she wouldn't keep lying and would accept responsibility for what she did. Going to jail (not prision US MAG) doesn't mean you took responsibility. The courts force you to go to jail. TAKING RESPONSIBILITY means admiting you did it! GET REAL LITTLE GIRL!

You mean it gives an excellent opportunity to get some publicity!

  • July 25, 2010 - 11:06am Leigh

Umm newsflash.. prison and jail are two separate entities. She was at a county jail, NOT a prison. Big difference. And ps... if you're not guilty why would you plead guilty? Hmmm....

Another example of a nobody being called a "Celebrity". Never heard of her.

  • July 25, 2010 - 7:46am Gail

You know, you people ought to know the difference between "prison" and "jail". Alexis was in JAIL, Lindsay is in JAIL!

I don't even know this chick and I can't stand her. That garbage reality show she did with her two sisters and her mom was terrible. She came off as such a spoiled sl*t. I really hope her statement is true that this humbled her and she realizes how lucky she is. One thing I don't get: why take a plea deal if you didn't do anything? PS-please fix the font. I just LOVE that we can use colors and all but the wacky font is ugly and a pain to read.

.....who? and she's considered a "celebrity"? LOL right.

  • July 25, 2010 - 1:54am JAWs

Ok, I think Alexis is a theiving, lying bimbo, but I really wish people would stop whing about how she used her "fame" to get out early. Here are some of the problems with that scenario: 1) She's NOT a "celebrity". People wouldn't know her AT ALL, if she hadn't been caught commiting this crime. And since (as tabloid stenographers like Us Weakly like to point out) many other "celebrities" have been to this particular jail, I can't believe anyone would be impressed by a z-list nobody like Alexis. 2) Since many posters here apparently don't live in California, let me bust out a few facts about this area. California (and LA in particular) has a LOT of people. California also has a severe budget crisis. Do I have to spell it out for you? Prison overcrowding! Which brings up another state factoid: people here don't like having their taxes raised! Would anyone here really be willing to pay higher taxes just so Alexis and Lindsay can spend a few more days in jail? If so, then make sure you tell the governor, because he'd be happy to hear from you!

my effing eyes!! FONT SUCKS. Please fix!

  • July 24, 2010 - 11:33pm JAWs

Ok first thing first: Your new font system sucks big time, Us Weakly. And since Alexis (and apparently the jounalistic failures at your magazine, Us Weakly) is an idiot, perhaps she can explain how she "claims innocence" after she PLEADED NO CONTEST. (I mean at the last press conference where she "claimed innocence", her stupid mama stated she was in those houses "by accident." Whoops!) By the way, it's pretty silly for this magazine to keep harping on all the "famous ex-inmates" at Lynnwood. Um...it's the closest prison to the Hollywood/Beverly Hills/Malibu district, which is standard procedure. Where the Hell did you expect these women to be shipped? Gitmo?

  • July 24, 2010 - 11:26pm CeCe

She knows she did it. If she really didn't do it then she would've fought it in court. She did it. The judicial system is effed up. She's like a D list celeb and they let her out early. People in the judicial system are not doing their jobs.

  • July 24, 2010 - 11:25pm Bobby Joe

How does this girl get away with saying she's "not guilty" when she pled guilty? Am I taking crazy pills?

  • July 24, 2010 - 9:02pm Jennifer S

This is insane. How does somebody rob someone & get away with it. Alexis should be in prison for the 6 months she was sentenced 2. If you let her out why not let Lindsay Lohan out. That is totally not fair. You let out a person who committed robbery but you keep a person who violated probation. I say robbery is worse. Also she claims she's innocent then why did she plea out? She should have gone 2 trial & let the truth prevail. She's guilty 100%. She seems 2 think she can do no wrong. Definately not a good person.

  • July 24, 2010 - 7:13pm Jen

If she didn't have anything to do with the robbery/burglary, why did she plea bargain? I don't believe she has been humbled though. She's only saying it because she was told to say it by her lawyer. She acted like an ungrateful brat on the show and was so disrepectful. She'll be acting like that again after she's been home for a day.
