Duchess Kate Stuns in Chic Military Dress

Duchess Kate accompanied Prince William during his first event as the Colonel-in-Chief of the Irish Guards on Saturday.

The newlywed royals, both 29, shook hands and talked with soldiers in Victoria Barracks during a medal parade in Windsor.

While William wore his military uniform, Kate was a knockout in her own military inspired frock. Paired with a navy fascinator, the Duchess rocked a navy dress with gold buttons. She even wore a gold shamrock pin in honor of the Irish Guard.

Kate was all smiles as a young girl in a pink dress sweetly presented her with flowers.
In a matter of days, the Duke and Duchess will begin their North American tour, which includes walking the red carpet with celebrities in Los Angeles.

21I have one word to describe this mansion : TACKY.
Gorgeous dress BUT Lucky girl. A flimsy degree, no real career, just waiting in the wings to be a princess. Kate may have nice style but she's no role model. The princesses of Europe are role models. They WORKED and were women of industry, breaking barriers to MAKE something of themselves then they're prince fell into they're lap. Kate made SURE she fell into his lap. Maxima, Leticia, Raina, Mary, even Mette Marit. I guess since he'd been f***ing her for 8 years he kind of owed her a ring.
I know as a Royal there is a standard to uphold, but she just looks like she enjoys it. They are classy. Love them!
She looks and acts like a lady, very sexy. Classy.
The more I see her, the more I like her. For those interested, her coat is by McQueen. Shoes are by Prada. Clutch is Anya Hindmarch Marano Clutch in Snakeskin. (Net-a-Porter has the black version, but it's sold out.) The fascinator is by Rachel Trevor-Morgan. Hope this helps all the fashionistas.

Appearing in undergarments in public just one time like Kate or her sister Pippa or repeat performances like Gaga, once its captured on film, its OUT THERE! Integrity...whatever!!! Looking acceptable is part of Kate's new job, whatever job Royals have anyways...looking like Gaga is part of her job as an entertainer...entertainer being the key word. Atleast she works for a living!

Kate's 'fashion show' undergarments were a one time thing...she has proven time and time again that she has class and grace and INTEGRITY, integrity being the key word...there is a massive chasm between her and Gaga (with HER so-called stylists), with Kate being the more acceptable and respected...
Kate was on stage for a fashion show in her 20's, in a flimsy dress that showed her undergarments. And Lady Gaga is on stage for a performance in her undergarments. No difference really, just bcoz Kate turned all "classy" with the help of professional stylists, no need to trash talk about just Gaga!
Why do you have to throw Britney in there?? A woman who has overcome mental illness! She is out there working and taking care of her family not making a mockery out of herself like Kardashian with sex tapes etc. Anyway, Kate does look good but I am bored with her. Everything she wears is exactly the same style and it gets boring.
Wow. Did anyone else notice the photo of Lady GaGa? She looks trashy and inappropriate - meanwhile, Catherine looks extremely classy and beautiful. Catherine is a lovely lady who always looks well groomed and dressed in a modest manner. She is definitely a good fashion role model for today's young women.

Love, love, love the interaction between the little girl who handed Kate the flowers. Just a nice touch and the flowers even had the colors of her outfit. Prince William and Kate look good together.

Me too! Very classy but she should walk beside her husband, and NEVER in front of him. Otherwise her and the Prince looks really nice together. I love a man in uniform everyday. lol.
