Girls gone wild! Prince William joked in an interview on Friday, February 26, that he’s already preparing for daughter Princess Charlotte’s rebellious teenage years.
“Charlotte is very easy, she is sweet,” the royal father explained to Sky News before the Wales vs. France rugby game in Cardiff, Wales, on Friday. “But all the fathers say, ‘Just you wait! When they get to 9, 10, 11, they go crazy.’”
William, 33, shares son George, 2, and daughter Charlotte, 9 months, with wife Kate Middleton.
The prince added that his children are already very active and energetic.
“No broken bones yet, but they’re trying,” he joked. “[They’re] running around, pushing things, jumping. Please tell me it gets easier!”
Last month, William revealed in an interview with British talk show hosts Ant and Dec that becoming a father completely changed the way he acts.
“I’m a lot more emotional than I used to be,” the father of two explained. “I never used to really get too wound up or worried about things, but now the smallest little things can get — I can feel — you well up a little bit more.”
He added, “You get affected by things that happen around the world or whatever a lot more, I think, as a father, just because you realize how precious life is and it puts it all in perspective, the idea of not being around to see your children grow up and stuff like that.”
William and his younger brother, Harry, lost their mother, Princess Diana, in August 1997.
