Prince William Headed to Switzerland for First Royal Engagement Since Princess Charlotte’s Birth: Details

Prince William has scheduled his first two royal engagements since wife Kate Middleton gave birth to their daughter, Princess Charlotte

Duty calls! Prince William will have to leave his little bubble of domestic bliss next week for two royal engagements — his first since wife Kate Middleton gave birth to their daughter, Princess Charlotte, on May 2.

A rep for Kensington Palace tells Us Weekly that the proud second-time father, 32, will attend two meetings in Switzerland on Monday, May 18, as part of his involvement with United for Wildlife, which was created by The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry

Both William and his younger brother — uncle to Prince George and Princess Charlotte — are ambassadors for the organization, alongside athletes including Andy Murray, David Beckham, Lewis Hamilton, and Yao Ming. The group's mission is to protect endangered species and prevent illegal wildlife trade.

Two days after his meetings in Switzerland, Prince William will represent at an engagement for the Football Association's England Women Senior Team. According to a release, the Duke will meet with the team on May 20 at St. George's Park, where they're training for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2015 in Canada.

One of the players, Fara Williams, is Patron of the Homeless Football Association, which uses sports to help "everyone experiencing homelessness in England…develop their skills and abilities, gain self-respect and confidence, improve their health, and ultimately positively transform his or her life," according to the Homeless FA website. 

Prince William and his family have kept a low profile in recent days, ever since they left Kensington Palace for their country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, on May 6.
