From a $44,000 rattle to a six-figure charity donation made on behalf of the youngest royal, leaders and dignitaries from around the world spared no expense when it came to celebrating Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter’s first year of regal existence.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are incredibly grateful for all the letters, gifts and good wishes they have been fortunate to receive in the year since Princess Charlotte was born,” the palace shared in a statement on Monday, May 2, which is the little princess’ birthday.

Perhaps the most luxurious of Charlotte’s gifts is the 18K white gold rattle studded with diamonds. The toy, which was made by the Natural Sapphire Company, is worth an estimated £30,000 (approximately $44,000).

Stephen Harper, the 22nd Prime Minister of Canada, sent Charlotte a snowsuit and a book and made a $100,000 donation in her honor to Immunize Canada, a vaccine advocacy organization.

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, who paid a visit to the royal family in April, sent Charlotte a stuffed-animal version of their famed Portuguese Water Dog, Bo, along with a jigsaw puzzle.

Charlotte’s aunt Pippa Middleton gave her a decidedly practical present: a $6 pack of biodegradable diapers made from natural mull cloth.

Other notable offerings include a set of silk figurines depicting the 18th century Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber, from China’s President Xi Jinping; a copy of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales from British Prime Minister David Cameron; and handmade coats that were given to both Charlotte and her big brother, Prince George, 2, from Bhutan’s King Jigme and Queen Jetsun, whom the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with on their tour of the Eastern Asian nation last month.
