A christening fit for a princess! On Sunday, July 5, a soon-to-be 2-month-old Princess Charlotte will make her second public appearance. The fourth in line to the British royal throne is set to be christened at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Sandringham, England.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Reverend Justin Welby, will be presiding over the ceremony and will personally baptize Princess Charlotte. He will be joined by The Reverend Canon Jonathan Riviere and the Rector of the Sandringham group of parishes.

Guests invited to attend include great-grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip plus her grandparents Prince of Wales Prince Charles, Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, Michael and Carole Middleton, and other relatives in addition to, of course, parents Kate Middleton, Prince William, and older brother, Prince George, 23 months.

Noticeably missing from the festivities will be Charlotte's uncle, Prince Harry, who is leaving the UK at the end of the month to spend the summer in Namibia and work with the Nature Conservancy and Save the Rhino Trust.

Though the christening service will be private, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will welcome all well-wishers to gather in the paddock outside the church.

“The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the warm wishes they have received since Princess Charlotte's birth – many of them from local people in Norfolk – and are delighted the paddock can be opened on the day of the christening,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

Charlotte’s older brother was christened in October 2013 at St. James Palace.
