After over a month in jail, Redmond O'Neal, the 25-year-old son of the late Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, will be moving to a drug rehab.
The Associated Press reports that a judge placed the troubled Hollywood scion back on probation, sentencing him to a residential drug rehab program. O'Neal has been behind bars since Dec. 29 for violating his parole on a prior drug conviction.

L.A. judge Michael Tynan said that if O'Neal's rehab stay is successful, he will be moved to a sober-living facility.
Remember Farrah Fawcett and other stars we lost in 2009
An attorney for O'Neal said that his client made "considerable" progress during his time in jail, and deserves a second shot at rehab. The judge noted that his new program will be "justifiably" severe.

really samatha? ugly? says who? i hope he can dig himself out and live a good life.
Sad to say that this guy is a wasted space in society. He just can't quit his bad habits and we're $ on him.
To Samantha. It's those kind of comments that cause people to have self esteem problems and turn to destructive behaviors like drug use. Kinda harsh, don't you think? You sound like a very ugly person (inside) as well.
Kind of have to feel bad for him...look at who is role models are! And to think he probably hasn't even processed the fact his mother, Farrah, has passed. Wait until that happens and he'll be in a whole new world. Good luck to him though.
This kid is an ugly, piece of trash. What a disgrace!
