Two weeks after being placed under psychiatric hold, Mischa Barton has left the hospital and is ready to head back to work.
"I can confirm that she's left the hospital with the intention to resume production" of her new CW show The Beautiful Life, her rep Craig Schneider tells Usmagazine.com.
Barton, 23, was placed under involuntary psychiatric hold at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center July 15. "She's going through a rough patch," Benji Kohn, producer of Barton's new thriller Homecoming, told Us at the time.
But on Friday, Ashton Kutcher, a creator of The Beautiful Life, said Barton was recovering well. "I can tell you right now Mischa Barton is doing great," Kutcher told reporters at a technology conference in Pasadena, Calif.

Production on The Beautiful Life — which stars Barton as a pill-popping supermodel — is set to begin Friday. Aside from starring in the Fox hit show The O.C. from 2003 to 2006, the British-born Barton has also worked as a model.
