Breaking news! Richard Engel is now a married man. The NBC Chief Foreign Correspondent wed his girlfriend Mary Forrest in NYC on Friday, May 29.
"So happy. Just got married! To @MaryKForrest," Engel, 41, tweeted. "My longtime love and girlfriend."
Engel and Forrest are also gearing up for yet another chapter in their lives — parenthood! According to Page Six, the couple are expecting a baby boy in the fall.
The veteran journalist first met producer Forrest when he appeared as a guest on Martha Stewart's show five years ago. Page Six reports that they exchanged vows at City Hall and will have a "small cocktail" celebration with their loved ones next week, followed by a romantic honeymoon in June.
