Rita Ora was hospitalized for exhaustion on Wednesday, June 29, following a busy day involving a morning photo shoot in London.
The “Body on Me” singer, 25, documented the incident on Snapchat. In the photo, Ora rests in a hospital bed with an IV inserted into her arm. She took to Twitter to elaborate on her medical trip.
“Today was pretty tough but I’m getting through it thank you to all of you for the support!” Ora shared on Twitter. “I love you!! #exhaustionisreal.”
Later in the evening, the blonde beauty seemed to make a full recovery. She snapped a sexy photo of herself dressed in nothing but lingerie and wrote, “Goodnight guys.”
It’s no wonder the pop star needed to take a breather. She’s recently been traveling back and forth between Los Angeles, where she’s recording her follow-up album to 2012’s Ora, and Vancouver, where she’s been filming scenes for Fifty Shades of Grey’s sequel Fifty Shades Darker (which will hit theaters in 2017).
In addition, she’s been making pit stops in the U.K., where she lives and where she just performed for a sold-out crowd at the Glastonbury Festival on June 25.
Despite running herself ragged, Ora is thrilled to continue working. She recently signed a record deal with Atlantic Records UK after ending a legal dispute with her former label, Jay Z’s Roc Nation. Earlier this month, the company released Ora from her contract, allowing her to sign with another label and put out more music.
“I’m so thankful to my new Atlantic Records family and First Access management for all their support and encouragement!” the “How We Do” songstress enthused in a June 20 Instagram post. “The next chapter is going to be incredible!”
