Road Trip actress Mia Amber Davis died in L.A. on Tuesday. The 36-year-old was known for her plus-sized modeling work and playing a heavyset seductress in the 2000 Tom Green film.
Davis's husband, Michael Yard, told TMZ that the actress underwent routine knee surgery on Monday. Yard spoke with David Tuesday morning and said she sounded normal and in good spirits.
Yard was in New York on Tuesday when he got another phone call informing him that his wife had passed away.
He told the site he immediately hopped on a plane to L.A. and added: "I want to know what happened to my wife."
