Rob Lowe is counting his blessings. The Parks and Recreation alum and his family had to be rescued during their France vacation this week after the first floor of their residence became submerged with water during a scary storm.
“This is is right outside the house. Was twice as high at the worst, just before sunrise,” the 50-year-old wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, June 24.
Just hours earlier, Lowe posted a snapshot of the clear sky. “Goodbye Spain. Hello France!” he wrote.
The West Wing actor was joined by his wife Sheryl Berkoff and the couple’s sons Matthew, 21, and John, 19, for the short-lived getaway. In the aftermath, John thanked those who brought them to safety.
“Thank you to the fireman that saved us from this nightmare,” he tweeted. “Happy for us all to be safe, thoughts to others.”
