The Twilight cast reunited in Los Angeles on Thursday — with one very noticeable absence.
While Kristen Stewart was promoting her new film On the Road at the Toronto Film Festival Thursday, estranged boyfriend Robert Pattinson handled promotions for their Twilight film at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
With the help of his costars Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Jackson Rathbone, Pattinson took the stage — sporting his signature messy locks, jeans and a dress shirt — to present the final Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 trailer.
"For over four years we've been working together as a family on the Twilight films and this year is the epic finale," Lautner, 20, began the introduction.
"It's been an amazing journey and we'd like to thank all the fans of the series for your incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now, the finale chapter," Pattinson added. "This is an exclusive clip from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2."
The new clip shows more Bella (Stewart) as a vampire and her daughter Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) with Edward (Pattinson).
"My time as a human was over, but I never felt more alive," Bella says in the sneak peek. "I thought I'd be safe forever, but forever isn't as long as I hoped."
