Robert Pattinson stepped out without his trademark accessory -- his world-famous hair! -- at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards held at the Nokia Live Theatre in Los Angeles.
Casually clad in a blue button-up polo and jeans, the British star, 25, revealed a startling buzz cut as he accepted a Favorite Drama Movie for Water for Elephants (his costar Reese Witherspoon was M.I.A.). See more pics of Rob with a shaved head from PopSugar.
No word yet on why the Twilight hunk went for the drastic new 'do. (Back in July, Pattinson emerged with a nutty, half-shaved 'do to fans at Comic Con in San Diego; the rather schizophrenic look was for a pivotal scene in his trippy thriller Cosmopolis.)

"Woah. Thank you very much. I don't know why they asked me to accept it because it's really a lot of other people as well," Pattinson said of his People's Choice Award at the podium. "When I was doing this movie, I was having so much fun doing it that I was saying to everyone I didn't even care if anyone saw it. But now that people have seen it and they're giving awards for it, I'm even more thankful for the whole experience, so thank you guys very much."

Well...Rob looks good a lot of ways, but I love his hair, so I miss it! Two things I always notice about a man is the "eyes" and the "hair".
I have to admit that the shaved do is still attractive on him because come one, it's freaking Robert Pattinson! And it does attract more attention to his face, but God I miss his hair. So much. It was his trademark! The uncontrollable not-even-trying sex hair! He better grow it back and this better just be for a movie or something.
I do like the cut. He doesn't look like himself; he looks some other 'HOT' guy.

I like it, of course I'm old enough to be his mother, but I'll bet she likes it too. One thing about it is that it's easier to wash, doesn't take long to dry, and if it's cold you can always get a hat on over it. With longer hair, it's mighty hard to get those to do that quickly. Good luck to him with this If he keeps it this way, it'll be a whole new look for their newest movie in the Twilight saga
