Robert Pattinson: "My Personal Hygiene -- It's So Disgusting!"

Robert Pattinson stinks. Literally.
The sought-after Twilight actor -- romantically linked to Kristen Stewart, his face adorning the bedroom walls of millions of fans -- warns would-be suitors to keep their distance or risk a certain aroma.

In an interview posted by UK's New! magazine, Pattinson says that he rarely changes his clothes. "These jeans are a few days old," he says. "But the top is probably fresh because it gets to the point where even I can't stand the air around me. I don't know, my personal hygiene – it's so disgusting!" He explains that his constant travel schedule pares down his wardrobe quite a bit.

And the 23 year-old star also shatters the illusion that he's as hopelessly romantic as his Twilight character, Edward. "I don't think I'm romantic any more. I'm just a bit manic depressive!"
His career, if anything, has dampened his mojo: "Acting ruined my seduction techniques because you start to think everything is a 'method.'"

Not that he isn't still obsessed with women: "A lot of my ambitions are tied up with wanting pretty girls to like me," he says. The self-depracating Brit adds, "any girl I've ever really wanted to go out with in the past, I've always lost to someone else!"

He is KIDDING, people! Brits don't smell any worse than Americans or other groups. It is rude to make generalized statements like that. I think he is just being sarcastic. He does have that marvelous Brit Wit that I adore so much and I am an American girl, born and bred. I would rather marry a Brit than an American anyday. Oh well, I married a German, he is European cool and does not have all the nasty habits you see in MOST, not all, burt MOST typical American men,(probably too much TV or learning the bad habit of others they mimic). See? It can be said about any cultural grou. I stil prefer European men or men born in America by the parents of European parents. They usually have impeccable manners and are much kinder and better behaved towards women. Just my observation. I am 55 yrs young and I have observed many men in my time on earth, so I think I have a pretty good idea about who has better manners and the European men win it, hands down. Sorry American guys, learn from your European brothers, they know how to treat a woman! And young Mr. Pattinson? He is handsome and sexy! He is young and has lots of time to grow. He is an accomplished musician and a prretty darn good actor too. He will only get better as he ages. I think he is a great example of a good looking young man with manners today. He is fine example. And because his hair gets all the attention, you should check out the magazines for the other celeb young men these days. Joe Jonas has been seen wearing a cap like Rob's now as does Zac Efron. Many other young men are copying "the Look" that Rob hates so much. He is LOTS more than his hair, folks!
I agree with ana. That is probably the exact reason why he is saying this. Hoping that it will keep some of the rabid fans away. Or unless he is just being silly. Which, I'm sorry but if ever given the chance....WOO HOO...I would still love to find out. Just spray him down with cologne or ask to get freaky in the shower!! =] hehe...I'm just saying!! =p

I'm young(17) and single and I know how to do laundry and even my 41 year old dad can do laundry and shower and he is a busy person. But he does look disgusting, in every picture I've seen of him. Must be stupid to find someone like him 'attractive'

I know men that are not famous but are young and single and they are exactly like him.How many men that are married and let say are in their 30-40's know how to do laundry.
