It's about time! Though they've been dating since the fall of 2012, Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale hadn't walked a red carpet together until the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on June 3, 2013. The I Give It a Year actress, 33, and the Boardwalk Empire actor, 43, held hands as the posed for photographers. "They were chatting and laughing in between flashes," an observer tells Us Weekly.
Byrne carried a Swarovski clutch and wore a Thakoon dress, Rona Pfeiffer jewelry and Salvatore Ferragamo heels. The actress and her boyfriend were later spotted chatting up fellow attendee Ethan Hawke, according to the observer.
The celebrity couple was first linked in late 2012, though a source told Us they had "been dating for a few months" before taking things public at a Killing Them Softly afterparty in New York City on Nov. 26.
Cannavale was previously wed to actress/screenwriter Jenny Lumet from 1994 to 2003. They have a teenage son, Jake. Byrne, meanwhile, previously dated writer/director/actor Brendan Cowell and writer/director Gregor Jordan.
