Yikes. Roseanne Barr posted and then deleted a picture of her bloody face on Wednesday and joked that she got into a “tussle” with Bill Cosby, the 77-year-old actor who is under fire for allegedly sexually assaulting numerous women.
Barr posted a close-up photo of her face looking swollen and cut with the caption “Got in a tussle w bill cosby. U shoyld see that mfer” on Twitter and then quickly deleted the tweet.
After recalling her joke, the 62-year-old uploaded the same image moments later with the caption: “Got a chemical peel to look more sexier. Joked about tussling cosby.”
Barr’s tweets come after The Cosby Show alum has made headlines after numerous females, including stars like Janice Dickinson, have come forward claiming he sexually assaulted them.
In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dickinson claimed that Cosby drugged and raped her in 1982. “I remember before I passed out thinking that I had been sexually assaulted by this man,” she told ET. “Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs.”
Despite the never-ending accusations, Cosby’s lawyer continues to deny the allegations. “Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work,” his lawyer said in a statement after denying any truth to the claims. “There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives.”
