Don’t get between Rosie O’Donnell and her favorite Disney movie. The television personality, 52, showed just how serious her love for animated films is on Thursday, Sept. 18, when she went on a rant to defend the celebrated flick Frozen

“There’s been a very depressing and distressing thing that’s happened in the news,” O’Donnell began in a segment on The View. “I’m sure you’ve read about it. Mayim Bialik from Blossom and The Big Bang Theory has come out against the movie Frozen.”

Bialik, 38, voiced her distaste for the frosty film on her personal blog earlier this week in a post entitled, “Why My Sons and I Hate the Movie Frozen.” She outlined a variety of reasons, including the plot and its perceived feminism, how she saw the women in the movie painted as dolls, and what she interpreted as “male bashing” in Frozen

A mother to five children, O’Donnell did not care for the Blossom alum’s criticism.

“I feel that Frozen is the best Disney movie ever made,” she said on The View, surrounded by her new co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie Perez, and Nicolle Wallace. “I’ve seen it 250 times. I can say it, I have every word memorized, [and] I love it like the rest of America.”

O’Donnell then went on to address each point of Bialik’s criticism, refuting every claim that the former child actress made. “Princes sometimes suck!” she offered as a rebuttal to the male bashing criticism, going on to invoke SpongeBob SquarePants as an example of a male character who was similarly animated like Anna and Elsa in the movie.

The three other panelists on The View cracked up as she offered her diatribe on Frozen. Finally, when she finished, O’Donnell gave everyone in the studio audience a DVD of Frozen

“Do you feel better?” Wallace questioned O’Donnell when she caught her breath. “I feel better.”
