Royal Sandringham Estate Available to Rent! Details on the Vacation Spot Fit for a Queen

The Sandringham Estate now has two rental properties open to the public.

Fit for a queen! If you’re in the mood to be treated like royalty on your next vacation, we’ve got the perfect place for you. The historic Sandringham Estate, located in Norfolk, England, has two rental properties available to the public on its expansive grounds.

Both the Garden House and The Granary are open to the public to rent, and the Garden House overlooks Prince William and Kate Middleton’s home, the Sandringham House. 

The Garden House rents for £625 per week (approximately $975). It features three twin bedrooms, one double bedroom, two bathrooms, a sitting room, a dining room, a kitchen, and a coatroom.

The Granary is slightly smaller with three bedrooms, but each has an ensuite bathroom and there’s a kitchen/dining room combo, too. The property was converted from a barn into living quarters. It rents for £600 per week (approximately $935).

If you’re doubting just how often the royals are in town, never fear! The Dukes and Duchess of Cambridge, along with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were all seen walking the grounds in late July following the christening of the youngest royal. In fact, the Sandringham grounds were the location of several of Mario Testino’s official christening portraits.
