Russell Brand Confirms He's Engaged to Katy Perry

Russell Brand has confirmed UsMagazine.com's exclusive report that he and singer Katy Perry are engaged.

Brand, 34, is quoted in Wednesday's editions of the Britain Sun as texting, "It's true. Much love."

Her rep also confirms the engagement to Us.

Perry, 25, also has suggested that she will be walking down the aisle.

Early Wednesday morning, she referenced an Alanis Morrisette lyric to "Thank U" on her Twitter page: "So when do I start walking the streets naked singing that Alanis song?" The "Thank U" video features Morrisette walking naked in India, where UsMagazine.com first reported Tuesday that Perry and Brand -- who've been dating since September -- got engaged.
