Ryan Dunn and his passenger, who has been identified as Zachary Hartwell, were both killed in the wreck. Hartwell, 30, wasn't one of Jackass' regular stuntmen, but he was credited as a production assistant on the second movie and a "car stunt driver" in Bam Margera's Minghags. According to the Daily Mail, Hartwell was a recently married Iraq war veteran.

Dunn, 34, was driving his 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 when he lost control of the vehicle and it flipped over a guardrail and crashed into the rural Pennsylvania woods before bursting into flames. Police said that "speed may have been a contributing factor" in the crash, although they've yet to determine whether alcohol was involved in the crash. (Dunn tweeted a photo of himself drinking with pals just hours before his death.)

Roger Ebert's comments insinuating that Dunn and Hartwell died as a result of drunk driving infuriated Margera. "I just lost my best friend. I have been crying hysterical for a full day," the Jackass star tweeted. "And piece of s**t Roger Ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents about a jackass drunk driving. F**k you."
