Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have quietly wed, according to Woman’s Day in Australia.

Cohen, 39, and Fisher, 34, who've been engaged for two years, said "I do" in front of a few close relatives in a private traditional Jewish ceremony in Paris last Monday. (See more photos of the pair in Paris at PopSugar.com!)

"We did it – we're married!" Fisher wrote in an email to friends the following day. "It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much.

"I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!"

Cohen was spotted wearing a ring in Paris on Sunday, according to X17.

They welcomed a daughter, Olive, in 2007.

In 2005, Fisher told British newspaper, "Sacha makes me laugh more than anyone."

She added that their relationship works, despite the fact that it's unconventional.

"Instead of 'Hey, honey, did you pick up the dry cleaning?,' it was 'Did you get beaten up? Are you getting sued? Is there a warrant out for your arrest?' " she said of Cohen who, at the time, headlined the controversial comedy, Borat.

To I See Stupid People--I won't assume that a six year engagement guarantees a long marriage. Unless two people are very young when the relationship starts, a long engagement ways to me that there a lot of problems to be resolved before the marriage can take place. Even after Sacha and Isla resolved their religious differences when Isla converted, they still didn't marry. Isla seems to haven't gotten pregnant soon after, and they still didn't marry. At this point, you've got to wonder if this marriage is more for the child's sake, if Isla's conversion was sincere or something she'll resent later, and if Sacha really wanted that child (though it really does look like he loves Olive now.) It's not a situation that I'd want to be in if I were Isla despite the money and the glamour. If it took all that to get my husband to marry me--and I am also in an interfaith marriage--I'd really wonder if he loved me. On the other hand, my husband is just a hard-working, middle class guy, so he's got more love than money to offer. You've got to wonder if Isla would have hung in there if Sacha had been a regular guy and not a movie star.

I have to take my hat off to them for not throwing some stupid big hollywood wedding costing millions when they already live together and have a child. Good for them for making it a religious private ceremony with friends. Hope they have many happy years together.

Congratulations Sacha and Isla! It's about time! Jessica - in France (where they wed) and in the UK (where Sacha comes from) the wedding ring is worn on the left hand, the US isn't the only place in the world were rings are worn on the left - the custom actually came to America from the UK.

If you've ever been to Europe you'd know that they typically wear their wedding bands/rings on their right hand. The US is the one that wears wedding rings on the left. Congratulations to them! I can't believe they finally did it!
