Sarah Hyland "Not Sorry" for Mocking Lea Michele's Red Carpet Pose

After Modern Family star Sarah Hyland playfully poked fun at Glee's Lea Michele's red carpet posing style during E!'s Fashion Police Friday, the 21-year-old was criticized by fans of the Fox hit.

"I did not intend for my comments to be taken in a malicious way," Hyland clarified via Twitter Saturday. "But I did hate the dress. Called her ass great. Did you all hear that one?"
When several Twitter users accused the actress of being envious of Michele, 25, Hyland responded: "In no way am I jealous of Lea Michele. I'm happy with my own life and am not jealous of anyone else's in the world."

"Congrats Lea. You know how to work the red carpet. I can't take it as seriously as you," she added. "I can't take myself that seriously. I don't like the red carpet. I feel silly. So props to her for knowing what she's doing and enjoying it."

Though Hyland hopes Michele takes the criticism in stride, the Modern Family star added that she "won't apologize" for her remarks on Fashion Police.
"I'm an outspoken person," she explained. "I own what I said about that outfit. And I mimicked what I saw with my own two eyes."

24I am a huge Glee fan and love Lea Michele but have to agree with Sarah Hyland, everything she mocked is true of Lea on the red carpet. She does stand funny and make weird poses and Sarah is not first to mock her for it either. And I am also a huge fan of Modern Family so get over Gleeks take it for the joke that it was not that serious.
They're both hot! Have a sense of humor, people! No one's above a little mockery of some type.

I think it's funny, if people are gonna hate on Hyland because she said something funny and TRUE that only proves my theory of glee being a brainwashing cult. Plus Lea Michele is so ugly n gross and pisses me off, n Sarah is like crazy pretty and I admire her for voicing her opinion.
And in case none of you noticed, Michele did EXACTLY what Sarah said she does.

lea michele is beautiful and she's gorgeous. and for your information, she's an actress. you hear that about celebrities all the time that they're mean. chances are most are, however lea is NOT. and just because they play a character that's stuck up and conceited, or someone that's mean or whatever, doesn't mean that they act like that in real life. i'm pretty sure you lea haters know that just as well as i do. lea michele's poses are lea's. we all have quirks and things that make us us. lea's poses are what makes lea special. funny to joke around with, but there's a line when you're making fun of it to be hateful. LEA MICHELE ALL THE WAY! glee season 3 tonight! :)

Good for you Sarah. Lea Michele looks foolish posing like that. Sarah looks way more elegant with her pose. I used to love Glee not anymore. So sick of Lea Michele & her character Rachel Barry. Her character is so annoying. I heard Lea in real life & on the set is a diva. Not nice to the fans & on set thinks she the best cast member who is better than the others & feels she makes the show. This is what I have read.
lol Glee sux to begin with everything about Glee is sick all their women look like men and vis versa, so what this isnt the first time anyone has criticized glee characters and its not gonna be the last. plus if your anyone is gonna bring so much attention to hurt feelings then the respons is gonna be the same to all... WHO CARES! Sarah Hyland is actually really pretty so she kinda has right of way i wouldnt defend myself if i were in Lea's shoes. then again ppl can have what ever opinion they want cant really confront anyone to buy or accept anything against their flavor or will!but thats just me! learn to make friends for once! peace... oh and that vagina comment was really funny! lol
She talked about posing and her dress? Wow. I heard that she was being mean... guess I was fooled. Lea's dress is weird, her shoulder pads look like vaginas and her poses are over the top and divaish.

Lea Michele is adorable, and she makes fun of her own self as much as anyone else would. I'd hope she could take a joke. This isn't a big deal. People say asinine things all the time.
