Sarah Palin Blasts Obama for Doing The View

Rosie O'Donnell has slammed President Barack Obama for going on The View.
Now former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is bashing him.
She has Twittered: "President with no time to visit porous US/Mexican border to offer help to those risking life to secure us, but lotso’ time to chat on The View? I’m headed to border in near future… let’s see how quickly his travel schedule will allow that border visit after all.”
Meghan McCain, daughter of former presidential candidate John McCain, also frowned on Obama's appearance.
On The Daily Beast, she blogged: "Once again it was all smoke and mirrors, not surprising for a president known for his poetic use of language. I found the president's appearance pretty predictable and his answers very rehearsed. I mean, how many times can he talk about how he has Jay-Z on his iPod? ... See the top 10 player politicians.

"It was just pretty much the same as I always get from President Obama," she went on. "Our president is charming and knows what to say to sound appealing, but for some reason this is still a man I—and many Americans—continue not to find particularly genuine. I found myself zoning out a few times during the interview, and concentrating more on Sherri Shepherd's cute outfit and hair than what the 'thorn and rose' of his administration was so far. ..."

17599% of these comments are missing the point. This is not about how "stupid" and "misguided" Sarah Palin is; this is not about how "stupid" and "misguided" her family is, and vice versa with the McCains. They're just stating their concern that their President is sitting on some talk show instead of taking care of business. Another point that's missing is that Bush left a mess, but consider the system of checks and balances. He takes the blame because he was the face of the country, but most of what happened was under the control of a Congress that didn't even belong to his own party. Aside from that, if you want to bash, you would sound so much more intelligent if you used actual facts rather than just calling names. Give legitimate reasons other than stupidity, please? It just proves your own ignorance.

I don't watch "the view" However many people do, and it was good that our president did not think himself to powerful to make his apperance. Sarah has made many apperances, and photo shoots wherever and whenever she can, to whomever will listen. I think that she is judgemental on anyone elses opinions or beliefs that are not the same as hers, and brow beats her way into making her voice heard. I find it comical that a room full of educated, powerful women, with plenty of clout don't find Sarah interesting enough to have on their show. Maybe there will be a new reality survival show to come where they drop a big political "wanna be" in the heart of a washington feeding frenzy and see if they can survive it. Maybe if Sarah wears her american flag bikini with a couple of rifles across her chest standing over a dead wolf carcass...she might get the attention she thinks she deserves.
Sarah Palin is a US Citizen and is as entitled as anyone else to comment on the President. His visit to the View was a total waste of time. Truly. Rather than comment on his visit, most of you are choosing to bash her, which has NOTHING to do with the pitiful excuse of a President that he is. Hillary Clinton said it best, "He's just a good speech."

Sarah has no credibility. She left her duties on Alaska and ventured into writing a book and doing whatever public appearance she can make money on. She is an annoying puppet that shows up to do her little one line criticism. She has no list of accomplishments since she lost the election. I feel saddened for anyone that actually thought this woman should have been a vice president two years ago and especially for those that think she can run a country in two more years. The people who vote or will vote for her must be equally oblivious as her.

So here I am on vacation, and 3 of my friends have all jumped on our friends computer and this blog in defense of the president. I often frown on this stuff, but have decided to put my two cents in anyway. I am a former republican, haven't voted for a republican since Bush 1.... I live on the upper east side of nyc and have my whole life. I was proud to help elect obama, he is elegant, articulate, intellegent and who I believes loves this country for what it has given him. Many of us upper east siders voted for him. This election really inspired me to connect with the employees of my companies, companies that my brothers and I love and now run. My thoughts: was I paying them a competitive salary, did their families receive quality health care, have we selected the right health care plans, did I create a work environment that fosters an environment of achievement, respect, an appreciation? In my early 40's I have plenty, plenty of everything, I will be more than fine the rest of my life, and I wish that for all my employees. When you have dreams as big as mine, it takes a village to help hold those dreams. From janitors to my vice presidents, it takes a village, no job or person more important than the next. To make a long story short, I didn't care if my taxes hiked a little, because I see it as making taxes accordingly, not taking from me, so that joe the plumber could get a lotus esprit. I should be paying higher taxes, I make a lot of money, lower socio-economic levels have been paying my inheritence taxes since I was born... I could give too! So when I saw the comments of palin, I thought how seriously rediculous, how plain, how predictable, how shockingly ignorant. Mr O, get on the view, continue the town hall meeting, let your people see you. Tea party efforts anf fox news efforts to destroy his credibility only make conservatives look bitter, which is why they lost the elections in the 1st place. That man has toured the country and seen the desperation, he is trying to deliver what we said we needed, that was never going to be easy deliver, but he'll do it! Palin and others are just throwing pasta on a wall to see what sticks, and if that's what you want, you are no american at all. I would have never voted for the palin ticket, how can she love americans, and be so strict trying to legislate what a person can and cannot do, all while trying to tell you who's to blame for the position of your life? That's not freedom. Now, back to vacation
