The Ellen DeGeneres Show just got handled. The stars of the hit series Scandal stopped by the daytime show on Thursday, Sept. 25, and spilled some personal secrets to host Ellen DeGeneres.

Kerry Washington, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Diaz, Jeff Perry, Tony Goldwyn, Joshua Malina, Bellamy Young, and Scott Foley caught up with DeGeneres, 56, in promotion of Thursday's premiere of the fourth season of the ABC drama.

The TV stars took a break from their intense Scandal scenes to have a little fun on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, participating in the host's "The Scandal Secret" trivia game.

Each actor wrote down a personal secret on a piece of paper that their cast mates likely would not know about them. They were then split up into two teams: Foley (Jake Ballard), Young (Mellie Grant), Goldwyn (President Grant), and Perry (Cyrus Beene) representing the White House, and Washington (Olivia Pope), Stanchfield (Abby Whelan), Lowes (Quinn Perkins), Diaz (Huck), and Malina (David Rosen) representing Olivia Pope & Associates.

In a sweet moment, they made the teams even by adding a fifth member to the White House group. Washington, 37, surprised DeGeneres herself by bringing out the funnywoman's wife Portia de Rossi, who is appearing in multiple episodes of the upcoming season.
