Lindsay Lohan Smirks in Mug Shot

Dressed in an orange jumpsuit, Lindsay Lohan cracks a slight smirk in her just-released mug shot.
The 24-year-old actress -- who surrendered to police Tuesday to start a 90-day jail term for violating her probation in a 2007 drunken driving and cocaine possession case -- was booked around 10:11 a.m. at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif.
According to her booking sheet, the 5'6" star weighs 118 lbs.
L.A. sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says Lohan "has been extremely cooperative" so far. "Everything is going smoothly."
Though she received a 90-day jail sentence, Lohan's slammer time will likely be reduced due to overcrowding. Whitmore said a "projected release date" could be announced sometime today.
Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told reporters the actress is "scared as anyone would be ... and she's resolute. She does her time just like anyone else."

So true joe! Also when did the sheriff's dept. get the authority to change the sentence of a judge. Time off for good behavior is one thing but to change it to an arbitrary number of days saying their overcrowded just doesn't seem right or legal.
If the jail is so over crowded why does she get a cell by herself. Over crowded my a$$. Put her in with some other lowlife.

Why should she get a SHORTENED sentence? Due to "over-crowding"? Please, she needs help. And yet another slap on the wrist for Little Miss Train Wreck. This time, she'll probably kill herself (or worse)because she'll never learn. Her dad is a deadbeat and her mother? She's the most twisted, money hungry B*&^% Ive ever seen. Nice work Mom and Dad Lohan...nice work.
What's with the preferential treatment for celebs and them serving only a fraction of their sentence? Where's the follow-through?
She is is not smirking. The jail people are even saying she is cooperating. She appears to be trying to be strong, not throwing a fit. She also appears humble and scared. Have a heart, US! Dang!

I think she looks just awful her skin, the bags under her eyes. She needs help and I hope she gets it. I will pray for her, I would hate to see such a pretty young woman ruin her life, or end of dead from a drug overdose. She is young and pretty and has so much to look forward to. I hope she will find the peace and strength she needs to heal and work through her addictions I will be praying for her.

Oh is Lindsay Lohan aqbove the law or not, good god they should lock her up for life. Overcrowded what a good excuse, then let them release someone else early, not that worthless parasite.
