See Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's First TV Interview Together Post-Scandal

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are making it work.

On Thursday night, MTV aired a sitdown interview with Pattinson, Stewart and their Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 costar Taylor Lautner -- the very first joint chat that Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, have given since Stewart's summertime fling with director Rupert Sanders.

Discussing the very last film in the epic supernatural saga that made them superstars -- and sparked their complicated real-life romance -- Pattinson and Stewart kept the mood light and jovial, laughed out loud frequently with Lautner, 20.

Although Stewart (who privately reconciled with Pattinson last month) was typically fidgety, she admitted to MTV's Josh Horowitz it's "more interesting" promoting the flick with her costars. At another point in the long discussion, Horowitz showed the couple a snapshot taken of them at a Tuesday night Halloween bash -- in which they held hands and wore freaky transparent masks.

"Oh, yes, it looks awesome," she said. "That's not fair -- that's actually a really weird [picture]."

Added Pattinson: "It was a $3 mask from 7-Eleven."
