The 20-year-old pop star looked like a glamazon in a gold leather Atelier Versace mini-dress, which she paired with matching gold pumps and jewelry. "It may have been a little too much, but I loved it!" Gomez said of her look. "It was so sparkly and I was like, 'Yay!'"
Though her 18-year-old ex was nowhere in sight, Gomez wasn't alone: she rolled in to the Weinstein Company bash (sponsored by DeLeon Tequila) with close pals Sarah Hyland, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher French, Ashley Tisdale and Josh Hutcherson. "They were all dancing around as they walked in," a partygoer tells Us Weekly.
When the deejay played Michael Jackson's hit single "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)," Gomez started "dancing in her seat," the partygoer adds. "They were all having lots of fun."
Later that evening, Gomez hit up the CAA afterparty at Sunset Tower and confirmed her breakup with Bieber. "Is it true?" the Wizards of Waverly Place actress' unidentified pal asked. "Yep, done!" Gomez replied. The Disney Channel star also admitted her trip with Bieber to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, was "awful. . . We were fighting."
(The pair flew south of the border for a New Year's trip, but their happy holiday was cut short when Gomez abruptly flew home to L.A. on Dec. 30. "They had another huge fight, and Selena won't forgive him," an insider told Us at the time.)
Gomez and Bieber -- who broke up several times after first getting together in November 2010 -- are done for good, a source recently told Us. "Selena is done with him."
Luckily, the Spring Breakers star has a handful of friends to lift her spirits. "Great night, great people," Modern Family's Hyland, 22, wrote in an Instagram picture caption from their Golden Globes extravaganza. Echoed High School Musical's Tisdale, 27: "Such a fun night!"
