Spookin’ the squad! Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have been besties for nearly eight years now, so when the “Good for You” singer, 23, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, Oct. 9, the talk show host naturally questioned her about the “Bad Blood” singer, 25.
“Baking is involved,” she said of being in Swift’s squad, to which DeGeneres, 57, asked, “you have to know how to bake?”
“It helps!” Gomez replied. “A lot of wine, talking about boys and life. I think [Swift] pushes me to be more confident.”
But what she wasn’t anticipating was the terrifying moment in which a man, dressed in a Swift-esque sparkly onesie with a fringe white skirt and blonde wig, jumped out of the table next to Gomez with a loud shout.
The Disney alum was scared out of her skin, throwing her legs up into the chair and crouching in the fetal position.
“It’s great, I love it,” Gomez said of the prank. “But you know what, I want to do a full-on one. You’ve got to get me good.”
DeGeneres fulfilled her wish moments later, having a man dressed as Elsa from Frozen come out and grab her from behind.
“Oh my gosh! What the hell!” Gomez screamed after getting scared a second time.
