A fight for her life. Shannen Doherty broke down when talking about her battle with breast cancer during a new interview, explaining that there have been points since her diagnosis when she was afraid she “wasn’t going to live.”

“It’s hard,” she told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, July 28. “I started thinking that I wasn’t going to live … I don’t look past today.”

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015 and went public in August, revealed that despite the hardships, she’s trying to stay optimistic about beating cancer.
