Sienna Miller: Plus-Size Models Are "More Beautiful" Than Skinny Ones

Don't count Sienna Miller among those who think that the skinniest girl in the room is always the prettiest.

The British actress shared her enthusiasm for "plus-sized" models with a New York magazine reporter on Sunday. "I sincerely believe that that's more beautiful than someone who is poker-thin. I really do," Miller, 27, said of voluptuous women.

The actress -- currently performing on Broadway in After Miss Julie, wishes she had more curves herself. "I would love to have boobs to go with my hips, but I don't," she says. "That's just not the way the cookie crumbled."

And Miller seems to have had somewhat traumatic experiences as a model herself. Before she made it in film, she found work posing at photo shoots: "I was, like, the short, funny one that they booked to make the other girls laugh and to make them look taller," she laments.

The skinny actress, who's recently realised she can't actually do better than Jude Law, claims she wishes she was a bit fat. But then she's never been known for her honesty, has she? Talking about plus-size models, she says, "I sincerely believe that that's more beautiful than someone who is poker-thin. I really do." she's blatantly hoping she's such a role model that a million women will now desperately want to put on weight, making it easier for Sienna to have a go on their husbands while they're too busy stuffing their faces with lard to notice. Sienna also says she "would love to have boobs to go with my hips, but I don't." Which mythical hips are these? Seriously, well done to her for having such an enviably trim figure, but she should at least admit it and not do this whole faux self-deprecating thing so beloved by people like her and Keira Knightley.

I used to be really skinny when i was younger and was always really insecure about it. After i had a baby I loved my figure! I can't imagine how girls actually want to be skinny like some of those models are. Woman do look better with curves and I wish the fashion and entertainment industry would promote a more realistic and healthy body image for young girls to see.

I don't think Miller is poker thin, so I don't think she's actually being self-deprecating. I personally agree with her. I like curves too. I too also wish my boobs were bigger. Lol.
