Singer Ben Harper Files for Divorce From Laura Dern

Two-time Grammy Award winner Ben Harper has filed for divorce from his wife of five years, actress Laura Dern.
TMZ.com reports the singer "blindsided" Dern, 43, with the court papers late Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.

Petitioning a judge to deny Dern spousal support, Harper, 40, also claims that the couple separated in January.

10Laura Dern broke up Billy Bob Thornton's marriage to wife Pietra (they had 2 kids), and she also broke up then married with children Ben Harper's marriage - she was actually sleeping with Harper when his then wife Joanna was pregnant, when Dern got knocked up. That's why Harper's daughter from his first marriage and the son he has with Dern are only 2 months apart in age. . What I don't like about Dern, is that she wasn't even married to Thornton, just a girlfriend, when she insinuated that Jolie stole her boyfriend, and Thornton himself claims they had broken. So i get annoyed when people say Jolie stole Thornton from Dern. It's just a lie perpetrated by lame teamm aniston people. . Dern was just dating Thornton and on a break or broken up, when he met Jolie. . While Dern herself, broke up two actual MARRIAGES where very young children were involved. . The hypocrisy is stunning. To her I say, what goes around comes around. Karma baby.
Wow, Billy Bob Thornton did the same thing to her when they were engaged and he left her for Angelina Jolie. Makes you wonder if he was just a giant @-hole all along....
If she was involved with men before their divorces or caused their divorces then it is just a payback. Now maybe she will understand what the term "Paybacks are a b.i.t.c.h." really means.

okay...i just looked up the facts...Billy Bob left her for Angelina Jolie...and i do not know about the other fact...please get your facts right...i truly belive she did not break up anyboy;d marriage it is sad...when they look as marriage as a joke why get married? two innocent children...why is he leaving her?
If she broke up other homes, then I don't feel sorry for her. Seems it's come back to haunt her.
this is sad but not surprising it was bound to happen. people don't care about their vows anymore though you can't help who you fall in love with. some people just aren't meant to be married.
Please, don't feel bad for Laura. She hooked up with Ben when he was still married to his first wife. Her oldest child and Ben's last child with his ex-wife are two months apart. Also, Laura hooked up with Billy Bob when he was married to his wife Petra, so, she needs no pity.
Oh Noooooooooooo!! After what Billy Bob Thornton did to her, I was really hoping for her happy ending. :(
