Exclusive: Source: Tiger, Elin Woods Divorce Is "100 Percent Happening"

Sweden is lovely this time of year -- too bad Tiger Woods isn't there with his Swedish wife Elin and their daughter Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 14 months.
While the golfer (he placed fourth in the Masters earlier this month) stays behind in the U.S., "Elin and the kids are out there visiting with [Elin's] family in Stockholm," a family source explains to UsMagazine.com.

Meanwhile, the insider says that "nonstop construction" continues on the $3 million home in Vaxholm which Elin purchased in December. "She is definitely planning on spending a lot of time there -- they are gutting it," the source says of the private-island estate on Sweden's west coast.
The mom and former model, 30, is "working hard" to speed up renovations. "She and the kids are going to be spending most of the summer there," the source says. "Without Tiger."

Also on Elin's to-do list: divorce Woods, 34, who publicly acknowledged and apologized for his infidelity in February after being linked to over a dozen women.

"It's 100% happening," the insider says of the split. "Elin and her mom met with a lawyer before they went to Sweden."
But don't expect those proceedings to go quickly, cautions the source. "It's going to take a long time to go through. [But] she will go through with it. She is all about being a mom. She will do it slowly and carefully."
As for Tiger, TMZ reports that the golfer caught a Nickelback concert in Orlando, Fla. on Monday night, and "partied backstage" with the rock band. He is scheduled to compete in the Quail Hollow Championship near Charlotte, NC next week.

Good for you Elin! What you're doing is prudent, and provident, given the circumstances. Tiger's an UGLY, cartoon-looking, incorrigible philander. You're much better off starting a new life with your children, than living in such a toxic household with Tiger. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Although they may not have Tiger's wealth, or acclaim, many of them will be loyal, respectful, and honorable. Almost all of them will be better looking, which isn't saying much, for Tiger's as bulbous, and homely, as they come. Good luck!
To: "My brother married a Sweden girl,"...How can she "stay in the marriage" and "live separate lives under one roof?" What kind of an arrangement is that? They both would be miserable and the kids would sense that. Picture yourself staying in a marriage and living in the same house with a spouse and not having a normal relationship. What would you do? Go Kendra: First of all, it's not known whether she plans on moving to Sweden permanently; she may just want to go there during the summers to be with her family. Secondly, how is she a "money-grubbing jerk?" She wasn't poor when she met Tiger; she had a life and money on her own. Her family is very well off, too. As for "not moving their kids away from the father for any reason," sometimes there are very valid reasons. In this case, he hasn't been known to be abusive towards his kids, but there are fathers out there who have been. Tiger is a very wealthy man; he can visit his kids as many times as he wants to any time of the year, if she does wind up re-locating back to Sweden.

It appears Elin DID give the marriage a second chance but Tiger did not keep his word to make fixing their terribly broken marriage his top priority and stay away from golf long enough to be in treatment to really treat his "problem."
