Brody Jenner is getting big ups from an old pal: Spencer Pratt! In a clip from the next episode Keeping Up With Kardashians, Jenner, 29, opened up an old wound, revealing his less-than-perfect relationship with dad Bruce Jenner. Calling the decathlete, 63, a "great human being," Brody muses on camera that the patriarch "wasn't a great father to me."
Brody's old buddy and costar on both The Hills and Princes of Malibu Pratt applauded his friend. Brody's mother Linda Thompson (Bruce's ex wife) first watched the clip via Us Weekly and tweeted "I commend Brody's honesty . . .There is too much hypocrisy in this world." Pratt, 29, was happy to chime in as well on Thursday, June 6. "totally agree! @BrodyJenner spoke from his heart and that takes courage! #princeofmalibu."
Despite those words of support, it's unclear whether Jenner and Pratt have reconciled. The former best friends had a falling out over three years ago as MTV's The Hills winded down, and Pratt (with wife Heidi Montag) was behaving more and more erratically following one on-camera feud after another.
"Lately, it's hard for me — even as someone who used to be best friends with him — to see what's real and what's not as far as he goes," Jenner said in a radio interview. "I see he wants attention."
