They did say the rest was still unwritten. Just three years after MTV’s hit reality show The Hills went off the air, drama king Spencer Pratt has some shocking things to say about his former nemesis Lauren Conrad.
In response to Us Weekly‘s Nov. 18 issue cover story, “Life After The Hills: All the Stars 3 Years Later,” Pratt, 30, tweeted, “Please buy @usweekly today! My amazing wife @heidimontag and my 2 awesome BFFs @LaurenConrad and @KristinCav are all on the cover!”
That’s quite the change of tune for the reality star who ostracized his friend Brody Jenner, 30, simply for hanging out with Conrad, 27.
“You’re hanging out with my enemy,” Pratt shouted at Jenner on the show. “That makes you my enemy!”
Pratt is often blamed for breaking up the close friendship between former roommates Montag, 27, and Conrad. But right before his on-screen wedding to Montag, Pratt was shown calling and apologizing to Conrad, asking her to attend the nuptials. The clothing designer later revealed that the call was faked.
This isn’t the couple’s first publicity stunt. Montag went under the knife in 2010 and had a record 10 procedures in one day, including the addition of her size-F breast implants. In the latest issue of Us Weekly, she talks about getting a breast reduction, which brought her down to a C-cup.
Pratt also allegedly spread a rumor that Conrad and ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler had filmed a sex tape together, which Conrad confronted Pratt about on the show.
This isn’t the first time Pratt has tried to make amends with Conrad in a public forum. On the star’s 26th birthday in February 2012, he tweeted, “@LaurenConrad Happy Birthday! Thanks for helping me find my miracle wife @heidimontag!”
At the time, Conrad ignored the gesture, and she has yet to respond to Pratt’s latest tweet.
As for Pratt’s other “BFF,” Kristin Cavallari, the pregnant star has never had beef with Montag or her media-loving hubby. Montag attended Cavallari’s first baby shower when she was pregnant with son Camden, and recently tweeted congratulations to her costar on her second pregnancy.
