Indeed, Jacobson announced the news this morning in an email to friends, saying she was "saddened and exhilarated," and had "decided" to "go off and style on my own."

Currently on hiatus, the reality show has not yet been picked up for a third season.

I, for one, never liked Taylor so I'm glad to see her go. Personally I think she was holding Rachel and the company back and keeping the company stagnant. Now Rachel and her people will be able to move forward and expand to new horizons. I'd be VERY surprised if anyone of Zoe's clients decides to go with Taylor. She might have the back office knowledge, but she doesn't have the instinct for style that Rachel does. If Hollywood is smart, they will stay with Zoe and bid Jacobson a final adieu from the fashion world.

I loved watching the show. however, since Taylor is gone i wont be watching it anymore. She was a hard worker, liked what she did but was surrounded by a lot of drama. I would go nuts if my coworker was always crying when they messed up and a boss who brushed her off too many times! She acted like that for a reason! I wish her the best, she is very talented!

This is to the person that made the comment that Rachel needs to gain weight and they think she is lying when she says she wants to: I too struggle with weight gain, I am not anorexic but just like an overweight person I am teased and hurt by comments made. I think it is so rude when people tell me I need to gain weight, that is just like going to an obese person and saying they need to lose weight. It is completely disrespectful. There are many people that struggle with this. I am the type that under high stress I just don't get hungry or hunger pains as others. I hate it, I try and force myself to eat sometimes but in my case I just can't gain weight.

Now wonder Rachel was having anxiety attacks and health problems, Taylor was toxic just watching her on TV, I can't imagine being around her.

Anywhere else that chick would have been fired years ago. Now wonder Rachel is having anxiety attacks, glad that whiny little girl is no longer on the show.

Okay, Taylor was nasty, but if you watch past episodes, she was the only one working her butt off! She made it clear to Rachel that she wasn't challenged in her position, and desired to work on the branding. Rachel didn't deliver. In fact, it was obvious from the second that Brad was hired that Taylor's number was up. All Brad did was pout and cry! So unprofessional. Taylor was actually a very fine employee...very devoted. The way she is being destroyed on the show right now is very revealing about Rachel and Rog. They are only out for their own gain....so watch out, others! The fact that she worked so hard and long for them and now they are intimating that there was foul play? Lawsuit, I say. What a nasty business. Money missing? I wouldn't be surprised if Rog had something to do with it, and had to cover his tracks by firing her - throwing her under the bus. Rachel should have been a lady and given her a glowing review, and said goodbye. I predict that Rachel and Rog will get bigger, richer and thinner, and eventually destroy eachother with their nastiness. He has your back? You had better rethink that one!

Taylor is HORRIBLE she stole money and clothes of Rachel's. She does not deserve any good words!

I hate to see Taylor go if there is another season the show won't be the same,

I have watched the show. She is high strung but works hard. Rachel Zoe really needs to gain weight big time. I don't buy the line about wanting to gain weight when the only thing I see her put down her throught is Starbucks coffee. If she ever go the flu she is a goner.

Taylor was immature and a big whiner...she had it pretty darn good with Rachel and she let her own ego get in her way.

Finally. It's unbelievable how much trouble she was as an employee. Let her get a job in the real world and give her boss that much headache. She's lucky she lasted as long as she did. Brad is a dear, has a lot to learn but I know he will not stress Rachel 24/7 with silly tantrums and complaints. He will do what she asks and make her life a thousand percent easier. Good riddance to Taylor.

It's about time! Taylor needs to see how hard it really is out there when you have a boss who expects a lot and doesn't put up with a crappy attitude. Rachel really cared about her and gave her the QVC 'accessories' etc... line she said she really wanted -- Rachel followed-thru, but it still wasn't enough for Taylor. Taylor is in for a RUDE awakening! Celebs LOVE Brad and Rachel -- they know how to smooze and make it NOT about them, but about the CLIENT. Good luck, Taylor... you'll need it!

Both of em are 2 bobble head coke bishes.

She was overdue for being fired. I couldn't believe her attitude and disrespectful way she treated everyone she worked with. If she's as great as she says she is, she'll do well. I wish everyone on the Zoe team success and happiness as I know it wasn't easy walking on eggshells around Taylor for as long as they did.

I only watched the episode where she refused to take her sunglasses off, and I thought that was really strange. Why wouldn't she comply, unless she was trying to hide something. She was either hungover or on drugs or maybe she had a black eye. It was wierd though. Glad that chick is gone.

  • November 08, 2009 - 4:41pm Kathy

She was so overdue for a firing....I would have let her go when she started the diva thing, she isn't the stylist, Rachel is...she'll find out no one wants HER ONLY as a stylist..............she is uneducated and boring.

She was the exact reason I didn't watch Season 2 she was just a witch and whiney and not to mention a wannabe. She didn't fit in with the show and she was also a liar and numerous other bad words. I hope they pick the show up for Season 3, if she's gone, I'll watch. Oh and she'll never make it on her own, she's a good assistant but she could never run the show, she just needs to chill her attitude and she'll make another designer happy because she's organized.

  • November 08, 2009 - 10:48am Jennifer

There's this thing called "insubordination" that can usually get you fired very qucikly in most places. Why she let that whining brat stay on her payroll that long is beyond me. I wouldn't take that crap from an employee for two seconds.
