Best friend battle! Taylor Swift is quite the popular gal when it comes to making celebrity friends, but it turns out she’s not the greatest at pool! The “Red” singer shared snapshots of Lily Aldridge “schooling” her at the game via Instagram on Friday, April 25.
“Lily, giving me major Audrey Hepburn vibes, while schooling me at pool,” the 24-year-old wrote. Alongside the caption, Swift posted a black and white photograph of the Victoria’s Secret model getting ready to hit a ball on the table. Swift stood back, however, as she looked on in awe at the beauty’s talent.
“Didn’t know I was a pool shark did you @taylorswift13,” Aldridge, 27, quipped. In a second photo, Aldridge (who is mom to daughter Dixie Pearl, 22 months, with Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill) gave a closer look at the pool table in what appears to be a bar.
Aldridge, 28, has grown close with the entertainer over the years. Back in November 2013, she opened up about their friendship after the duo shared the stage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in NYC.
“[Taylor] is one of my best friends, so we had so much fun together,” she gushed to Us on Nov. 13. “We had a little moment at the end of her song ‘Trouble,’ where we walked in front of the stage together.”
Indeed, while Aldridge rocked a white lingerie ensemble on the runway, Swift was on hand to perform her 2012 hit as one of the event’s performers. As Aldridge spread her angel wings, Swift matched in a shimmering silver dress.
