What a dream come true! Taylor Swift and Scott Eastwood both took to Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 29, to share their excitement over the imminent debut of Swift’s new music video for “Wildest Dreams.”
“Say you’ll remember me/ Standing in a nice dress/ Staring at the sunset, babe,” the 25-year-old singer captioned a black-and-white shot of the two of them together in classic ‘50s getups, referencing the song's lyrics.
In the stunning photo, Swift wears a form-fitting knee-length dress and a polka-dotted scarf around her head as she leans her head on Eastwood’s shoulder. The model-turned-actor channels the late James Dean with his crisp white shirt, khaki pants, and bomber jacket.
The music video couple pose in front of a classic glider with stripes on its wings.
“What an amazing time working with @taylorswift,” Eastwood, 29, wrote on his own account. “Not only is she a rockstar. But someone I am proud to call a friend. She is a great person and those are hard to find in your life. When you do… Hold tight.”
Swift posted a teaser clip to the video on her Instagram account last Sunday, Aug. 23, in which the pair get close amid a safari-style setting complete with zebras.
The full video — the fifth off her 1989 album — will premiere at the 2015 MTV VMAs, which will air on Sunday, Aug. 30. The singer has nine VMA nominations, including Video of the Year for her hit “Bad Blood.”
Tune into the MTV VMAs with Us Weekly on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 9 p.m. EST.
