Seriously, you don’t want to miss this! Taylor Swift rocked out with none other than Steven Tyler during her latest 1989 world tour show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., on Friday, Sept. 25.

The stars brought the house down when they belted out Aerosmith’s 1997 smash “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” The hit, of course, was also the theme song for 1998’s Armageddon, which starred the rocker’s daughter Liv Tyler. (Just hours before the performance, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Liv is engaged to her boyfriend, David Gardner.)
“Singing ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ with @IamStevenT was an honor. So inspired by how sweet he was to all of us,’ Swift, 25, tweeted Friday night. She added via Instagram: “Magical things going down on this tour. #1989tournashville .”
Swift’s younger brother, Austin, also posted about the show. “Just heard the Armageddon song (don’t wanna miss a thing) performed live,” the 23-year-old captioned an Instagram pic of his famous sister and Tyler hugging on stage. “What a night, what a night.”
Tyler, 67, was just as ecstatic about the duet. “HOLY SWIFT!!! @TAYLORSWIFT13 …SHINED SO HOT N BRIGHT SHE MADE THE SUN JEALOUS!!! THANKS FOR THE FUN,” he tweeted. Even more, Tyler replied to a tweet that Swift posted in October 2012.
“I feel like I’d be more understood if people knew ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ by Aerosmith is how most of my emotions sound in my head,” Swift tweeted at the time.
Tyler quipped back Friday: “WELL MA DARLIN’…YOU SURE WERE OVERSTOOD TONIGHT! A++…EPIC SHOW…UNTIL NEXTIME…”
