Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, certainly know how to make a splash. The Real Housewives of New Jersey lovebirds hit the pool while on vacation in the Dominican Republic on March 1 -- and they were not shy about showing their affection.

The couple -- along with their four daughters, Gia, 12, Gabriella, 8, Milania, 7, and Audriana, 3 -- spent some time at the Majestic Resort in Punta Cana, where they held an impromptu (and informal) underwater photo shoot. In one picture from the series, Teresa and Joe are seen in a lip-lock on the floor of the pool. Their legs are intertwined, and there are bubbles floating up around their heads.

The Giudices seem happy now, but they've had their fair share of obstacles over the years. On the most recent season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe was caught calling Teresa his "bitch wife" and a "c--t" during a trip to Napa. Later, on the October reunion special, Jacqueline Laurita alleged that the couple had an abusive marriage -- and that "Juicy Joe" was a philanderer.

"If we're being honest, he calls her those names and she calls him names and they punch each other," Laurita deadpanned. "You guys get into some pretty bad [fights]. I've heard every name in the book from you two. You told me your husband cheated on you several times: You caught him with the secretary, the babysitter."

In any case, the couple appear to have put the drama behind them for now. Joe later apologized to his wife for calling her names, and Teresa accepted. "We're happy together," she said at the reunion.
