This is happening. ABC's upcoming Bachelor Chris Soules is set to ride on the franchise's first-ever float during the 126th Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on Jan. 1. According to a press release, Soules will be joined by host Chris Harrison and fellow to-be-announced married Bachelor couples.
The float, which will tie into the parade's theme of "inspiring stories" as "inspiring love," will feature "quintessential Bachelor symbols" including champagne flutes, the Bachelor mansion facade, a hot tub, sculptured wedding bands and hearts, red roses (naturally), as well as "corn husks harvested straight from Chris Soules' Iowa farm."
Soules, 32, will wave to fans from a wrought iron balcony with a silver tray of roses by his side while Harrison toasts couples with champagne.
The farmer, who is attempting to find love again on season 19 of the hit competition show, was one of the final three men on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette earlier this year.
A source tells Us Weekly that Soules' upcoming season won't disappoint. "This season is crazy [and] it's great," the insider says.
