Tiger Woods' Mother-in-Law Addresses Rumors to Us
Tiger Woods' mother-in-law spoke to Usmagazine.com on Friday. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Barbro Holmberg, mother to Woods' wife Elin Nordegren, briefly addressed the ongoing headlines involving her daughter and son-in-law.
"This is a private family matter," Olmberg told Us. "I'm praying for everyone and everything to be OK. Please let's just leave it at that."
Olmberg's take on Tiger's alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel? "You seem to know more than enough already," she told Us. "There is enough for them to handle already. Please can you give everyone space."
The Swedish mother is similarly dismissive of reports of her daughter's supposed involvement in Friday's crash, and suggestions that a heated argument led to Tiger's injuries. "This is gossip," she said.
Olmberg is grandmother to the couple's two children: Charlie, born in February of this year, and Sam Alexis, born in 2007.
As for supposed mistress, Rachel Uchitel, she denied any wrongdoing to Usmagazine.com, saying "I did not have an affair with Tiger Woods ... I met him twice and have not heard from him since."
