Exclusive: Tiger Woods Snaps Up Bachelor Pad in NYC

Brand-new bachelor Tiger Woods moved into a new apartment in downtown Manhattan over the weekend, a source tells UsMagazine.com.
A witness saw Woods, 34, "introducing himself as the new neighbor," the source adds.

Last Monday, the multimillionaire golfer and Elin Nordegren finalized their divorce after nearly six years of marriage. The couple, whose marriage fell apart last year after Woods confessed to multiple affairs, has two kids: daughter Sam, 3, and son Charlie, 18 months. The divorce settlement provides for shared parenting of the kids.
"While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us," the former spouses said in a statement. "The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation."

Former model Nordegren, 30, will reportedly spend time in both the family's Orlando-area home and in her native Sweden: the $3 million seaside estate she purchased in 2009 on the Scandinavian country's west coast is currently undergoing renovations.

A curious move for Tiger. Last place to move to due NY's high state taxes. No income tax in FL where he lives. I guess NYC is a good place to fade into the woodwork with lower visibility. Tenants may get anxious with their new neighbor due to those dang papparazzi hanging around.
I wish Tiger would just go away now. He's had his day in the sun. He is now like Bill Clinton. You just can't think of him without thinking of his nasty scandals. Yuk!
I would like to see Tiger hook up with Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton, Jessica what's her name or somebody like that. Maybe Kate Hudson or maybe all of them. The media would have a field day, lot of work for the photographers and the bloggers would go insane
I hope this story is false and I think it is since the article does not say where the apartment is. The last thing Tiger needs to do is keep company with the kind of women he was seeing. If he does that, his image cannot be restored.
What happened to all that talk about spending more time with his kids? Was that just to get a better divorce deal?
I wouldn't go as far to say that Elin and the children would have to undergo Hiv testing several times a year. I would hope and pray that all of his family are going to be alright. I wouldn't put the gloom boom over them just yet. Tiger has made his bed and true he has to sleep in it. If I were Elin I would have waited until we were all tested before I divorced him.She got her settlement and everthing else, so it's over. They both start a new life. I think he should get his golf back to par and start winning some games.

If Tiger were concerned about his children and wanted to raise them in a loving, together household, then he would not have had sex with anyone so as not to endanger his children in the womb, which is what he did, or his wife. They will all have to undergo HIV testing among other disease testing, several times a year for the next ten years as that's how long it can take to show up. And, those of you that say, well he's entitled to do what he wants and no big deal - I bet if this same thing were done to his daughter "Sam" he sure WOULD think it was a big deal. Bad things usually don't necessarily happen to you when you screw up, but to those you love to make you see how it feels. He's a sad excuse for a person. Just because men and women are doing the same thing everyday, does NOT make it right. He's selfish and is certainly not a giving person. Elin didn't get preggers and make him marry her, he walked down that isle of his own accord - when he shouldn't have, but how is that her fault?

I read some comments that say Ellen should have given him another chanace.Do u think that is not funny. He was with more than 18 women while he was with his wife/Ellen/ and two kids. If she gives him another chance he will end with 48 women and some kids. If someone maries somone, he or she should respect their marriage, wife and kids. I do think he can be a good father but he may not be too.

Well, I definately am not a fan of Tiger. He was as probably always will be a pompous cheapskate. Waiters & Waitresses are well aware of how he thinks it is funny to NOT leave any tip. Sammy, OMG, NO...a skunk never changes it's stripes. One time is a mistake, he was obsessed and had a real sickness, a gross sickness for prostitutes. Sorry, not sure I could overcome that and find forgiveness. It was a huge detriment to her health as well.
LEAVE THE GUY ALONE, perhaps he should not have married, however, he is now single, hope he stays that way but come on people get off your high horses. the things that he did does not make him a bad father.
