Update: Tiger Woods Confesses to "Infidelity," Puts Career on Hold

As a reported thirteen women allege affairs with Tiger Woods, the golfer has announced he will be taking an indefinite break from the sport to focus on his family.
"I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children," Woods, 33, said in a statement posted on his Web site Friday. "I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try."

In the statement, Woods does not refer to Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Grubbs or the numerous other women who have come forward alleging affairs in the days since his Nov. 27 car crash, but pledges to focus his attention on wife, Elin Nordegren, and their two children.

"After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf," the dad to Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months, writes. "I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.

"I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding," he writes.
"What's most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing. "Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period."

Elin is not GOD so she will always remember what Tiger did but she can still forgive him,she don't even have to stay with him either just as long as she forgives him. I personally would be OUT OF THERE (maybe),infidelty is a hard one for me to forgive but i know that i must so that i can ask GOD for forgiveness whan i do something wrong.
When someone breaks one of the 10 commandments GOD is faithful and a just GOD and will forgive anyone who first asks HIM for forgiveness and then asks the person they wronged for forgiveness. And this is the part that most unbelievers and some Christians have a problem with, GOD said " AS FAR AS THE EAST IS TO THE WEST I WILL REMEMBER YOUR SIN NOMORE" That means GOD himself cant remember what you did if you truly are sorry and asks for forgiveness. i,m still a fan of tiger's everyone falls in some way or another at some pojnt in their lives, but whats important is how you pick yourself back up. not that i'm justifing in any way what he did because it is wrong and if he is just trying to make up with his wife because he got caught or for the kids sake then he should stop trying because it's not right and eventually you will break up anyway. nevertheless tiger and his entire family are in my prayers especially his wife beacuse i know how it feels to be cheated on by the father of your children

Infidelity is wrong. What is worse is for any woman, no matter how she tries to justify it, will have sex with a married man. Most men are in it strictly for the sex and not for "love", regardless of any promises they might make to the woman. I think the bimbo's coming out of the wood work probably don't have any proof of an affair, but are piling on for the publicity and their 15 minutes of fame.
